COST OF TO HAVE A BUYER REP? FREE
Represents your interests. Their job is to advise you as the buyer rather than protect the seller’s position.
Helps determine value. They can review comparable sales and market conditions to help you decide what a property may reasonably be worth.
Negotiates the offer. Price is only one part of an Agreement of Purchase and Sale. Closing date, deposit, conditions, inclusions, exclusions and other clauses can all matter.
Helps protect you with conditions. Depending on the situation, this might include financing, home inspection, condominium-document review or other appropriate conditions.
Identifies potential concerns. An experienced representative may spot issues or questions you wouldn’t otherwise think to investigate and can recommend when you should obtain advice from a lawyer, inspector, lender or other professional.
Guides you through the transaction. From showings and preparing the offer through negotiations, conditions, amendments, final walkthroughs and closing, there’s quite a bit to coordinate.
Explains what you’re signing. Ontario real estate transactions involve significant contracts and financial commitments. You should understand the documents and obligations before signing.
